This course is designed to help early years practitioners develop high-quality interactions that spark curiosity, extend learning, and deepen children’s thinking. Through practical strategies, real-world examples, and reflective practice, participants will explore how to:
- Recognise opportunities for sustained shared thinking in everyday play and routines.
- Use effective questioning and language to encourage problem-solving, reasoning, and creativity.
- Build positive, responsive relationships that support children’s confidence and communication.
- Create environments where collaborative exploration and critical thinking can flourish.
By the end of the course, practitioners will feel confident in fostering meaningful conversations and guiding children towards richer learning experiences, laying strong foundations for lifelong learning.
